The exhibition depicts many centuries of diplomatic, military, trade, cultural, and interhuman relations between the Poles and the Turks. Visitors have a chance to learn about the most significant historical events by means of original Turkish documents, prints, and manuscripts, as well as works of art presented in a chronological order. Over 300 presented objects come from 34 sources in Poland, such as state museums, the Princes Czartoryski Foundation, archdiocese and diocese museums, churches and monasteries, libraries, and private collections. The exhibition is a joint enterprise of the National Museum in Warsaw and Sakıp Sabancı Museum in Istanbul.
