Museum of Modern Art
Until January 10, 2016
A new look at an iconic figure of the neo- and post avant garde – the Slovakian conceptualist Július Koller (1933–2007), whose work was created and developed in political and social conditions that were radically different from the framework determining the art of the “West”. The distinctive feature of Koller’s art is the question mark – a symbol of the political and social situation of Czechoslovakia in the 1960s and a universal sign of doubt. The show includes a huge collection of works, archival documents and leaflets that have never been shown before.
