Opening on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 5 pm by Wojciech Przybylski (editor in chief of the VISEGRAD INSIGHT) and Gabriella Csizek, curator (Hungarian House of Photography) Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało reads her poetry Discussion with: Łukasz Galusek (Herito), Danuta Glondys (Villa Decius), Eva Karadi (Magyar Lettre) and Patricia Paszt (Hungarian Center in Krakow)

Visegrad Visibility Art Group consists of young photographers from the Visegrad countries (Markéta Bendová CZ, Daša Barteková SK, Tomáš Gindl SK, Barbora Holubová CZ, Anto Ivancsu SK, Kata Kóti HU, Magdalena Malińska PL, Kata Somogyvári HU, Csaba Szentesi HU, Rita Tuczai HU, Zsuzsa Varró HU, Zuzanna Zborilová CZ) who worked together with their tutors Gabriella Csoszó and Julia Baier in travelling workshops in the Visegrad region: Šamorín, Banská Štiavnica, Brno and Krakow.

Their aims are manifold and include the following: to make the region more visible both locally and globally; to promote the experience of belonging and togetherness; to show the similarities and individual characteristics in urban areas of the region, in the way of life as well as mentality formed by the common historical legacy; to face similar challanges in the post-transition period.
