Amsterdam and its Museum

International Cultural Centre
19 March 2014, 6 p.m.

What role does the historical museum play? How is it perceived? How is the museum audience changing? Paul Spies, director of the Amsterdam Museum, will respond to these questions. He will also talk about the Museum’s new permanent exhibition Amsterdam DNA, a collaboration undertaken with other historical museums; the framework for organisations and museum management; and also about spectacular projects such as the portrait exhibition from the famous Amsterdam Collection, which the Amsterdam Museum has organised in other exhibition venues in the city.
