The Ethnographic Museum in Krakow once again reveals one of its many treasures. This time we are presented with photographs by Michał Greim, who in the mid‑19th century had a photographer’s shop in Kamieniec Podolski. The exhibition’s asset are original prints from the 1870s and 1880s. This seemingly modest collection of several dozens of photographs which had no digital post‑production, together with a few large format prints, has great power – power of people whose faces and attire looks like they are from another century, as written about in the catalogue by the exhibition’s curator, Wojciech Nowicki.
